Bifold Doors are great for creating a large opening to cater for indoor-outdoor living. Each door is custom made, enabling a large range of configurations using ALTI®’s cleverly designed bifold gear. For example, a French Door can be incorporated into the bifolding unit to provide more flexibility.
A flush door sill similar to traditional timber joinery is an additional option. Flat, with a fuss-free foot tread, the sill is comfortable to stand on, will not gather dirt or cause tripping, and is easy to clean. A secure, two-point locking system seals the doors with a single action and is also available in a deadlock option.
As ALTI® uses a heavy duty wheel system that has been designed to carry very heavy doors that are over-height and double-glazed, the gliding action is smooth and provides many years of trouble-free use.
The ALTI® Bifold is designed with timber aesthetics in mind. It is not only a system with superior weathering capabilities, but also minimises the appearance of unsightly rubber seals across the bifolding system.
